Jessie Bernstein-Newton, LMT, BCTMB (she/her) is a Maryland Licensed Massage Therapist and Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from University of Hartford and graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage.
With almost two decades of experience, she has had a variety of experiences in different settings including a spa, long-term care facility, wellness centers, hospital setting, and hospices. Through her experiences she felt more attached to the areas of reproductive health: fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum massage, as well as, oncology and end of life/hospice support. In addition to the bodywork for birthing folks, she also teaches infant massage to families after baby has arrived. She has trained with a few of the best in the field including Tracy Walton, Elaine Stillerman, Claire Marie Miller, Tina Allen, and more.
Jessie’s approach involves coming up with a plan of care with her clients to meet their unique needs, and collaborating with other providers to ensure the best outcomes for the client. She supports individuals with a variety of health challenges including chronic pain, anxiety, endometriosis, post-op scar tissue, and more. She’s is especially passionate about bodywork after pregnancy/infant loss.
When not massaging, she enjoys time in her gardens, hiking and camping as well as hanging out with her partner and 2 entertaining dogs.
